  • Irish music by the pupils of l’Académie Rainier III (duration 30 minutes)

Programme at 15h and 16h: Irish music on the harp, cordes and recorder

  •  Dramatical readings by actors from Monaco-Ireland Arts Society (duration 30 minutes) 

Programme at 15h30: Readings from works by Irish female writers

  • A talk on Irish designer Eileen Gray

Programme at 16h: Talk on Eileen Gray (born in County Wexford), who designed the villa E-1027, built in nearby Roquebrune-Cap-Martin between 1926 and 1929. The villa was Gray’s first architectural creation and is recognised as an icon of modernist architecture. The pre-recorded talk willl be between Dr. Jennifer Goff, Curator of the Eileen Gray collection and Furniture National Museum of Ireland and Mary McGuckian, Film maker and member of the 'Comité d'Honneur' of the Cap Moderne Association.
